The community members currently purchase water from a water truck and some households have cisterns, but it’s often not clean or completely safe to drink. The community consists of about 200 people, who will all directly benefit from the project, and it’s accessible through paved roads (although traveling them is more difficult during January-April).

The main deliverable will be a water source, storage, and distribution system that provides the Paja Colorada community with clean drinking water.
