FIEA -Ecuador started operations since 2017 in collaboration with international institutions such as: Engineers in Action, EWB -USA, Shoulder to Shoulder, and UMCOR. In October 2020, after the signing of the inter-institutional agreement between both organizations, FIEA Ecuador adopts the formal representation of EWB-USA in the country. ​ As a result of this agreement, FIEA-Ecuador the responsibility of providing greater support to the different stages of EWB-USA projects.
