With the support of UMCOR – United Methodist Committee On Relief and the cooperation agreement with the Decentralized Autonomous Governments, the “Water for Rural Communities in Manabí, Ecuador” program was carried out.
We worked with 9 communities belonging to Rocafuerte in the province of Manabí, which benefited from the construction of facilities that FIEA built to have a treatment plant with the capacity to supply water to the families (3,000 people).
The project not only helped to fulfill the dream of many, to have access to water, but also allowed to assess the health status and resilience after the pandemic.
