About Bruce

Bruce Rydbeck, a member of the FIEA-Ecuador board of directors, contributes his experience of having lived and worked as a missions volunteer in Ecuador for more than thirty-five years. Currently, he serves as director of water projects for Life Giving Water International www.lgwi.org  Previously, he served as director of clean water projects for Desarrollo Comunitario Vozandes. He worked the initial ten years of his engineer career for consulting engineering firms in the United States of America. In addition to his work in the USA, he has worked on projects in Ecuador, Peru, Kenya, and Colombia, which include hydroelectric plants, hospitals, clinics, churches, and water supply. Bruce received his B.S. in Civil engineer from Clarkson College, a M.S. in Civil Engineer from Northeastern University, and received continuing education at Wheaton College, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and La Universidad Católica de Quito. He holds a Professional Engineer title in Massachusetts in the USA. Bruce is a member of American Society of Civil Engineers and American Water Works Association.
