About Valerie
Valerie is a lawyer who earned her law degree from Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ) in Ecuador. Since graduating, she has built a well-rounded professional background by working across both public institutions and private firms, gaining valuable experience in diverse legal contexts. These roles have helped her strengthen her adaptability and sharpen her ability to identify and resolve complex legal challenges.
Currently, she serves as the legal adviser at Fundación Ingenieros en Acción Ecuador (FIEA), where she draws on her multidisciplinary experience to support the organization’s mission of improving the wellbeing of underserved communities.
Looking ahead, Valerie aspires to continue her academic journey, with particular interest in areas such as international law, compliance, and psychology—fields she believes will enhance her impact as a legal professional and deepen her contribution to socially driven work.
